What this site collects
Only what you type in. The enquiry form collects your name, email address, an optional phone number, an optional property selection and your message. The newsletter form collects an email address and a language preference.
There is no booking engine here, so no payment details, passport details or guest identity documents are collected by this website.
Why it is collected
To answer your enquiry, and to send the occasional newsletter if you asked for it. Your details are passed to the relevant property or department and are not sold or rented to anyone.
Technical information
The web server records standard request logs. To limit spam submissions the site stores a one-way hash of your IP address against a counter; the address itself is never written to disk and the hash is deleted within a day.
Cookies and analytics
A session cookie is set when you submit a form, to protect the form against cross-site request forgery. Analytics and advertising tags load only if the group has configured them; see the cookie policy for the current position.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept while they are being handled and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the group using the contact page.
Third parties
Web fonts are served by Google Fonts and the map on each house page is a Google Maps embed. Both receive your IP address as part of an ordinary request, and Google is told which page you are viewing. Nothing else is embedded.
Changes
Any change is published on this page with a revised date.
Parts of this document are still with the group's lawyer. Where a clause is incomplete it has been left out rather than guessed at — ask the group if you need the current position on something.
